LUNDÚ is a group of musicians who admire Afro-Peruvian culture with the main objective of spreading and rescuing this cultural heritage based on research and the search for new sounds, proposing musical arrangements with modern aesthetics of popular themes of our national and Latin American folklore without losing its essence and roots.

Lundú was selected for the fifth edition of CenterStage in which they will teach the keys of Afro-Andean music and its importance in Latin American culture, academically and musically showing the musical treasures of Peru.

WORKSHOP COURSEFOUNDATIONS OF AFRO-PERUVIAN MUSIC

One of the problems of the current culture in Peru, is perceived in the lack of identity, appreciation and knowledge about specific issues of our ancestors. This concern should generate interest in accessing relevant information.

In an alliance with the Arequipa Music Contemporary School (EMCA), we realize the workshop course "Fundamentals of Afro-Peruvian music"

The course aims to introduce relevant content about the history, characters, rhythms and styles; taking the vision and experience of renowned exponents and musicians who marked a milestone in our culture.
